To support their mission, North provided a Central Management System (CMS)-based Intelligent Lighting solution and a city-wide IoT network.
This project involved the installation of a state-of-the-art IoT solution to remotely manage and monitor over 37,000 street lighting units. Not only did this enhance the city's lighting provision, but it also played a crucial role in creating a greener and safer urban environment. North's intelligent solution aligned seamlessly with Aberdeen City Council's Net Zero Aberdeen Route Map, contributing to the reduction of carbon emissions and supporting the city's smart city aspirations.
