North has taken a significant step in its sustainability journey by joining Techies Go Green, a collaborative initiative of IT and tech companies committed to decarbonising their businesses. With a collective goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2030, this movement supports organisations in improving their energy efficiency through collaboration and the exchange of best practices.

North’s Commitment to Sustainability

As part of its environmental sustainability efforts, North achieved carbon neutrality in 2022 through the Gold Standard carbon offsetting scheme. But the company is going beyond this milestone by pledging to achieve net-zero emissions, addressing:

• Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions: Direct emissions from owned operations and purchased energy.
• Scope 3 emissions: Indirect emissions such as staff mileage, goods, and services purchased.

This comprehensive approach underscores North’s commitment to identifying and reducing emissions across its entire value chain.

North’s recently published Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) Impact Report details its performance in sustainability, setting clear objectives to measure, monitor, and mitigate its environmental impact.

Joining the Techies Go Green initiative connects North with over 200 member organisations, creating opportunities to share actionable strategies for reducing carbon emissions.
