North achieves Cisco Environmental Specialisation Reinforcing its Sustainability Commitments

North has achieved the Cisco Environmental Sustainability Specialisation, demonstrating our commitment to enacting positive environmental change and building a sustainable future for all. The Environmental Sustainability Specialisation is another step in our journey to driving meaningful change within the industry and to raising awareness of sustainable practices.

The Cisco Environmental Sustainability Specialisation will allow North to help customers responsibly repurpose, reuse, or recycle end-of- life products, through initiatives including:

  • Recycling Solutions – harvesting and reusing materials from end-of-life equipment.
  • Takeback & Reuse – whereby 99.9% of returned end-of-life products are reused or recycled.
  • Refresh – Pre-owned products are sold with critical upgrades and the same warranty as new products.

Environmental, social and economic sustainability is a pillar of our strategy at North, and we are committed to working with sustainable partners to provide our customers with enhanced services that help them to reduce their carbon footprint and support the circular economy.

Sam Tovey, Sustainability and Social Value Specialist at North commented: "I'm delighted North has achieved the Cisco Environmental Sustainability Specialisation, which demonstrates our commitment to reducing our environmental impact and bringing about positive and meaningful change.
