Safer Places Start with Smarter Surveillance: Hammersmith & Fulham Council

Hammersmith & Fulham Council partnered with North to expand and upgrade their analytics powered CCTV network through a £4.5m investment, achieving measurable crime reductions across key crime categories, the highest CCTV coverage per capita in the UK, and making public spaces safer across the borough.

Through real-time monitoring, advanced analytics, and integrated body-worn cameras, North has helped the Council respond fast to public safety threats – from street crime to antisocial behaviour.

Hammersmith & Fulham’s new state-of-the-art Control Centre also supports neighbouring boroughs Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea, expanding protection and enabling faster, joined-up responses across London. Three boroughs working together to make London a safer place whilst setting a new standard for collaborative public service delivery.
