Delivering Festive Hampers for Westminster City Council

At North, when working with local authorities every project we undertake is designed to make communities safer, smarter, and better places to work and live. As part of our Social Value commitments, we partner with our customers to deliver tangible social benefits to create measurable impact for the communities in which they serve.

This year, to support our Social Value commitments with Westminster City Council, North colleagues assisted in the delivery of festive food hampers for residents.

Organised by the council through its Westminster Community Connects initiative, these festive hampers ensure essential food reaches members of the community in need at this time of year. Colleagues from across North took part in the activity, increasing collaboration and building connections with the community.

North colleagues commit to a day of volunteering each year and operate in varied communities across the UK. As well as working in partnership with our customers, engaging with local charities and organisations to respond to the need of each community is a critical tenet of our Social Value strategy.

Luke Quincey, Account Manager for Westminster City Council, said ā€œTaking part in delivering Christmas hampers to local residents as part of our social value commitment to Westminster City Council was a really rewarding experience. It was the first time I’d met the colleagues I was working alongside, and from the start it felt like a genuine team effort. Spending the day giving something back to the community, especially at such an important time of year, left a lasting impression and reminded me why social value work truly matters.ā€

We look forward to continuing our partnership with Westminster City Council and building smarter and safer places for the community.
